Adviescollege ICT publishes advice on the DIL-program
Geplaatst op 2 mei 2025The adviescollege from the Dutch government regarding ICT projects, the AcICT, has issued its advice on the DIL program. The advisers of the adviescollege reviewed the DIL program and examined what further steps are needed for seamless digital data sharing in the freight transport chain to support our prosperity and security.
We are pleased to hear that the adviescollege supports the approach of the program. We share the conclusion that, alongside DIL, more is needed to accelerate digital data sharing and maintain momentum in the use of the BDI agreements framework. The recommendations contribute to a strengthened implementation of DIL throughout the duration of the program until 2027.
The recommendations from AcICT align with the current Digital Transport Strategy of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and help shape the future Freight Transport Policy Agenda. DIL supports a system innovation in the freight transport chain. To ensure its success, we call upon all chain partners to contribute.
